Code Of Ethics
General Principles
This Code defines the ethical standards and rules of conduct of the publisher, the editorial board, reviewers, and authors of the journal Archaeology.
The aim of the Code is, based on moral responsibility, to define the professional dignity of Archaeology, to respect its own activity, and to establish trust in society toward highly qualified scientific publications.
The Code is created on the principles of fairness, objectivity, confidentiality, and transparency. The journal strictly adheres to international standards regarding the ethics of academic publications and is based on the best practices developed by COPE, in order to ensure a fair and transparent publishing process.

The reviewer must indicate all significant sources and citations that the author has omitted.
Duties of the Author

The author must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to several journals. As co-authors should be listed only those individuals who have actually participated in the research.
In the acknowledgments section, all individuals who technically or otherwise contributed to the research must be mentioned.
If the author discovers an error in an already published manuscript, they are obliged to immediately notify the editorial office.

board.
