About the Journal
Since 2017, the European University has housed the historical-archaeological museum and a permanent expedition. In 2018, Academician Andria Apakidze Institute of Archaeology was integrated into the university's scientific-research space. Utilizing the resources of the museum, institute, and permanent expedition, the scientific-research journal "Archaeology" has been published since 2018.
The journal covers a broad spectrum of research areas, including archaeology, history, historical geography, numismatics, toreutics, glyptics, history of religion, paleometallurgy, anthropology, and more.
The editorial board of the journal consists of representatives from various leading universities and scientific centers. A confidential review is scheduled for the near future, with plans to involve foreign reviewers in the process.
Language
Articles/Reports are published in Georgian, a comprehensive translation of all issues into Russian and English is underway, along with efforts to incorporate them into relevant international search databases.
Cost of publication
Publication of the article/reports in the Journal “Archaeology” is free of charge.

The Journal is published twice a year.
