Journal “Archaeology”
The scientific-research journal "Archaeology" has been published since 2018 under the scientific space of the European University, based on the Acad. Andria Apakidze Institute of Archaeology, the Historical-Archaeological Museum, and the Permanent Archaeological Expedition.
Mission
The journal's mission is to promote the development of archaeology and related disciplines, encourage the latest and practically relevant research, deepen international scholarly discussion, and popularize the scientific study of Georgian and world heritage.
The main objectives of the journal are:
Publication of contemporary archaeological and historical research while maintaining high academic standards;
Promotion of international cooperation through the engagement of representatives from foreign universities and research centers in the editorial board;
Creation of a unified platform for scientific discussion for young researchers and experienced scientists;
Support for the process of studying and preserving cultural heritage.

The journal encompasses a wide disciplinary framework:

The journal is published twice a year — in June and December.
